Research

The Department of Architectural Desing takes in research groups between Barcelona and Sant Cugat del Vallès.

The researcher professors from the department take part in research projects of national and european ambit, both about basic research orientated to provide solutions to society's challenges and technology transfer mainly adressed to public territorial entities. With a strong multidisciplinar character researcher from other areas of knowledge (from the UPC and other universities, as well as external professionals from the architecture and technology world) take a very active part in the research projects.

The research area aims to enhance research activity of the researchers and the groups in the architecture area of Barcelona through information, advice and management services.

Goals:

-To manage research projects.
- Dissemination, advice and support for the submission of applications for calls.
- Economical management of the projects.
