MBArch

The MBArch or University Master in Advanced Studies in Architecture-Barcelona is a postgraduate programme (60 to 90 credits) that focuses on contemporary architectural and urban design. It combines a wide-ranging set of programmes previously offered by our university, which had a high level of international recognition, into a new integrated master's degree.

It offers eight lines of specialization: "Management and Urban and Architectural Valuation", "Urbanism", "Project. Process and Programming", "Theory, History and Culture", "Technological Innovation in Architecture", "Architecture, Energy and Environment", "Restoration and Architectural Rehabilitation" and "Contemporary Project" (this last line taught entirely in English). All of them are taught by renowned professors and architects. One of the most significant aspects of the MBArch is its transversal organisation, a unique aspect within the current postgraduate programmes within our academic field, which offers our students some flexibility to enrich their pathways within the postgraduate programme by better adapting to their individual interests in research and professional practice.
